Agnes Artemel
Ms. Artemel has more than 25 years of experience performing market and economic impact analyses for specific development projects and for entire industries, and in conducting development project feasibility studies. She has conducted studies in the housing, office, hotel, retail, and industrial sectors. Ms. Artemel has also led the feasibility analysis and planning of several mixed-use projects, as well as projects with a special focus such as museums. She has particular expertise in economic base analyses, forecasting the economic impact of proposed small area and master plan changes, and preparing strategic plans for economic development and tourism development. Ms. Artemel has proven success in the analysis and creation of mitigation strategies to assist municipalities cope with major changes in their economies caused by external actions such as Base Realignment and Closure job movements, or massive new construction projects in more rural areas.  She has assisted a number of proposed development projects attain community consensus and support, leading to project approval.  Ms. Artemel also specializes in putting together public-private partnerships for projects that benefit specific communities.  She holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning.
