Old Town North Community Partnership
Artemel & Associates is providing management services to this membership association of businesses and residents that favors mixed-use development to create a more livable and walkable community with a mix of retail, restaurant, and service businesses adjacent to residential areas. For the Old Town North Community Partnership, an association of businesses and residents, we:
  • formulated a plan to improve a neighborhood park;
  • recruited volunteer landscape architects; prepared a site plan;
  • convinced the municipality to take on the project;
  • created events that would raise private sector funds for a portion of the cost of the improvements; and
  • worked with the local jurisdiction staff through three phases of improvements.
 The park now has new paths, a central gazebo structure, room for a playground as well as an open space for running or playing ball, an event space, and soon a redesigned dog run.
